Sea glass, black, necklace, handcrafted in fine and sterling silver and glass found on Provincetown MA beaches
Make a statement with this handcrafted black sea glass necklace with 3 pieces of sea glass found by us on the beaches of Provincetown MA. Each piece is set in a handcrafted bezel of fine, .999, silver and sits on a base of sterling, .925, silver. All components including the chain are sterling silver.
I use the glass as we find it and it is not altered in any way. You will notice that when held up to a light the glass will have a dark olive green color to it. Most black glass dates to the 18th century, and is extremely rare, making this a great conversation piece. It can be worn for casual every day activities or formal occasions.
Finding the sea glass is a family activity that includes my wife, daughter, grandsons and a good friend. we are in Provincetown from April to end of October and beachcomb at least once a week.
Shipping is included in the US. I ship via USPS Priority mail with tracking and also include information on caring for the piece, history of the sea glass, polish cloth, gift bag, and a gift box.
